Horse-trainers Mandy Cabot and Peter Kjellerup were looking for a perfect “barn shoe”, and discovered the traditional Danish clog. In 1990, they founded Dansko (meaning “Danish shoe"), offering clogs in an array of colors and styles for men and women who value comfort and quality. Today, Dansko's collection also includes walking shoes, boots, mules, and sandals.
