Celebrating the fifth anniversary of its launch in the country, Shake Shack Shake Shack Kr Korean cuisine. The food chain’s burger and shake are reimagined with bulgogi (grilled marinated beef) and makgeolli (an alcoholic beverage made from rice).

Created in partnership with Hanilgwan, a restaurant boasting a 22-year-long history, the Seoul Style Bulgogi Burger features a fat patty blending black Angus beef with the Korean delicacy. The meat is paired with melted gouda cheese, bulgogi-mayo sauce and pickled radish and carrot. The burger arrives with the Makgeolli Shake, which mixes Jipyeong Jujo‘s makgeolli with Shake Shack’s signature vanilla custard. The beverage is topped with rice crisps for added crunchiness.

The Seoul Style Bulgogi Burger and Makgeolli Shake are available from July 20 to August 31 at Shake Shack locations in South Korea.
