When you add in mental wellness — or lack thereof — and the games that people play to avoid being hurt, dating becomes all the more tricky. In the simplest of terms, a healthy relationship offers safety, trust and fidelity. According to the ladies of Twitter, or X as Elon Musk prefers, healthy relationships require a key trait: kindness.

Most importantly, however, many women were able to spot their healthy dynamics by first looking internally. One user revealed that this clicked when she realized she knew exactly who she was, and had no interest in “accepting anything else but the best.” Those who have been in toxic dynamics and are now in healthy relationships reported the biggest red flag being a partner who blames their actions on others.
