New Era Debuts Standalone Womenswear Line with All-New Lifestyle Collections

Introducing contemporary apparel and headwear pieces.

New Era is turning its attention to womenswear this year, unveiling new lifestyle lines and supporting fashion collections.

With the inaugural offering, the brand aims to pave a way in the lifestyle clothing market by harnessing its sports influences through a range of everyday garments. The first category – which stands as the brand’s own label – proposes a timeless interpretation of sports-inspired pieces elevating a mix of crop top and short sets that incorporate bright pastel tones and vintage-style cursive branding.

In typical New Era fashion, the launch of this collection is marked with the arrival of the new 9FORTY Women’s Active Cap. Characterized by its unique open-back, the headwear piece combines classic style with functional design to allow for various style options. The new cap drops alongside the updated iterations of the more casual 9TWENTY cap, which adopts a similarly bold color palette to the garment line-up.

Elsewhere, the second category titled MLB, launches with two inaugural collections. Boasting a refined design aesthetic, the Sports Specialist range focuses on easy-to-wear pieces including leggings, lightweight tops, and shorts. Here, the brand taps into its links with household baseball teams – New York Yankees, LA Dodgers, and Chicago White Sox – to adorn garments with preppy prints.

Rounding off the debut womenswear launch is the MLB Womenswear Fashion Lifestyle collection. Presenting a selection of trend-driven styles, the offering features tracksuits dressed in a seasonal palette of deep browns, lilacs, and neutral browns which can be paired with complementing oversized baseball-inspired tops.
