Created with the original last and confection of the early 90's.
In honor of the 30 years of history of GEL-LYTE™ III OG running shoes, ASICS presents the special edition 'Techno Cyan' created with the original last and tailoring from the early 90s.
The model features a layered mesh and chamois upper, with a forked tongue that offers a better fit and prevents the lateral movements of conventional tongues.
It features a triple density compression EVA midsole, vertical side and heel reinforcements for excellent movement control and GEL cushioning technology to absorb shock.

Midsole EVA
EVA is a lightweight, smooth and flexible material found in the midsole of retro-running and lifestyle shoes, and serves as cushioning system, in order to avoid hard impacts after every step. The EVA acronym comes from the rubber's technical name, ethylene-vinyl acetate.

The split tongue is a distinctive element of the ASICS Tiger Gel-Lyte III shoes. This system improves the adjustment of the sneakers to your feet and impedes the upsetting displacement of the standard tongues while you walk.

ASICS GEL is a system by ASICS Tiger that consists in silicone plates placed in the front part and on the back of the shoe. GEL system spreads cushioning in all directions, minimizing the power of every impact and offering firmness to the foot.
