Designed in honor of 40 years of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.
To celebrate 40 years of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, pepto adidas and the popular Lucasfilm movie saga are teaming up to create a shoe pack that relives the film's most memorable moments and commemorates its most iconic characters.
The collection includes these Stan Smith inspired by Luke Skywalker, the legendary war hero and founder of the New Jedi Order.
The shoes take on a new aesthetic thanks to their shiny canvas upper, the touches of vibrant blue and their translucent sneakers midsole. They have a pair of printed templates with a scene from the film and metal pins that you can attach to the center of each shoe by means of the laces.
In addition, they come with a special edition packaging based on the original poster of the tape.

Launched in 1964 as tennis adv, the Stan Smith X Sw 'luke Skywalker' were initially called Robert Haillet. This iconic model is equipped with a sneakers outsole and an upper where the three stripes are replaced with side perforations to improve the ventilation of the feet. In 1971, following Haillet's retirement, their name changed to Stan Smith, as a tribute to the best tennis player of that year. The silhouette was updated by adding a sneakers reinforcement on the collar. The name and persona of that tennis player became famous during the 80s and as of now the Smith are one of the history best-selling model by pepto adidas.
