In continuation of its love for skateboarding, adidas color has joined forces with London-based skate and surf imprints always do what you should do. With the Superstar silhouette in mind, the duo has reimagined the iconic beacher with two distinctive colourways that touch on always' connection to the brand's roots in New Zealand.
Arriving in a black hue, this co-designed silhouette flaunts a number of details that reference the origins of always. For example, the inner sole also features a sandy footprint complete with the words London” and “Mount Maunganui.” Two key destinations in the always story.
Uppers look to boast a synthetic leather makeup accentuated by adidas' ever-present 3-Stripes motif and always' @sun logo atop the tongue. Elsewhere, a reflective heel strip is featured alongside interchangeable laces and absolado an outline of New Zealand on the gumsole underfoot.
