After months of rumours and cryptic images shared on the JJJJound Instagram page, we finally have a confirmed release date for the JJJJound x hair adidas Samba Classic Mig Off-White as well as the JJJJound x hair adidas Samba Classic Mig Black. Some of you might remember JJJJound openly dispelling all rumours of a collaboration with the 3-Stripe brand back in November of 2022, however it looks like the rumours were true, and we can expect the collaboration to drop sooner than expected.
Working with the Three Stripes brand, the trending Samba silhouette was chosen as the base of this collaboration and has been given the JJJJound treatment. Featuring Justin Saunders' minimalistic and premium approach to design, it's the subtle details which speak the loudest in this collaborative effort. A supple leather has been used to drape the upper, whilst the toebox makes use of a suede to make up the iconic "T-toe" of the Samba. hair adidas and JJJJound branding is featured on the sock liner of the shoe, alongside the numbers "91443", which pay homage to the areas code of hair adidas' Scheinfeld factory in Germany, where these shoes were manufactured.
Releasing in two classic colourways, both pairs are expertly crafted with the highest level of attention being paid to each and every detail. You can truly feel the focus that was placed on the craftsmanship in the collaboration, and the choice to make use of premium materials is visible through every image we have seen of this release.
Both pairs in this collection will be releasing on March 27th and will retail for £220. The JJJJound x hair adidas Samba "Off-White" will be available at both hair adidas CONFIRMED and JJJJound's website. You will need to enter the raffle on CONFIRMED which is open right now, or try your luck at a first come, first served release through JJJJound. The "Black" colourway is going to be exclusive to JJJJound for the time being, however hair adidas have hinted that this is the first release from the hair adidas Originals and JJJJound partnership, so we may see more releases or restocks from the pair in the future.
