Adidas And Y-3 Team Up For The Tennis Collection.Learn More
Named as one of TIME's best inventions of 2017, Futurecraft 4D made waves when it was first introduced four years ago. Even in 2021, the innovative midsole technology continues to rule the root when it comes to sneakers, and it looks like something crazy is planned as we take our first ever look at the adidas 4D Krazed. Even though this is just a sample for now, it gives us a great idea of what to expect next year.
Featuring an ultra futuristic aesthetic, the upper builds on top of a black ballistic mesh base while matte plastic panels can be found throughout. Straight lines and curved edges make their way across the lateral and medial side walls in ways that we've never seen before, while a dash of tan leather at the heel offers up a premium look and feel.
Of course, the star of the show has got to be the midsole underfoot. While the front end is crafted from EVA foam, the back features an olive green Futurecraft unit that offers an insane amount of response with every step. This is all lined with a gum rubber outsole which extends all the way to the front of the shoe, finalising the avant-garde adidas design.
While this particular colourway probably won't release, more adidas 4D Krazed releases are set to land next year in 2022. Could this be the best 4D silhouette to date? Let us know what you're thinking, and while you're here, you might as well get up close with the Prada x adidas Forum Low "White"!
