From the LXCON and Ozweego all the way to Kanye West's Yeezy Boost 700 line, adi has always been the king of chunky sneakers, and now, they're set to introduce anyellow beefy boy into the mix with the adidas Roverend Adventure. While yellow models tend to opt for a more retro aesthetic, this brand new silhouette looks not at the past, but towards the future, for its unique approach.
The inner base is dipped in a clean "Off White" palette and wrapped in a beautiful concoction of mesh and suede. adidas Three Stripe branding shoots across the lateral and medial side panels, resulting in a tastefully vintage vibe. With that said, that's where the 1980s champion ends and where the 2080s champion begins.
Surrounding this upper is a vibrant "Lime Pulse" TPU cage which resembles Venom's Symbiote taking over its next victim. Not only does this offer added support and structure, it also forms the lacing system as well. "Adventure" text is printed around the heel in black, and the insanely chunky midsole is decked out in a topographically-influenced design. This is, hands down, one of the most unique things about the Roverend, and it's one of the main reasons this is on our must-cop list this summer.
Expected to arrive alongside a darker option, the adidas Roverend Adventure "Off White" is launching on May 31st, so make sure you hit those "Notify me" buttons for your best chance to cop! Let us know if you'll be adding these to your summer rotation, and in related news, Adidas ZX Torsion Grey Two Chalk White!
