Unless you're a runner, you're probably sat there thinking, 'Lunar, what now?!' But honestly, we forgive you for not knowing. Say hello to the Nike Lunar Roam, a silhouette that could honestly be the next retro-runner staple.
Building upon Nike's Lunarlon technology that first made an appearance in the late 2000s, the Lunar Roam is the Swoosh brand's latest addition to its running roster. With an advanced cushioning system known as 'Lunar Foam' (lots of Lunars, we know), this pair are set to bring both comfort and performance to the average runner, not to mention undoubted style.
We're not entirely sure why, but we're getting serious Tom Sachs x NikeCraft General Purpose vibes here, but by all means, we're here for it. Atop a thick ribbed outsole, we see a breathable mesh upper with a subtle TPU cage in the middle. Green shades formed to diagonal lines decorate the middle and rear, backed up by shades of beige and brown elsewhere.
Whether you're a runner or not, this pair is certainly stylish and flying under the radar at this point. If you happen to be looking to get your hands on them, they are set to launch on the 15th of December via Nike and other top retailers. Up next, The sacai x Nike VaporWaffle is set to make its grand return in 2024.
