We called it a couple of months ago, but after being the silhouette of choice for some seriously hot Nike collabs this year, the Nike Shox is finally set to hit the shelves again in early 2023. While we haven’t seen the Nike Shox TL since 2019, this year both Supreme and Martine Rose put their spin on members of the Shox family, proving that the world was finally ready to embrace the futuristic-looking sneaker.

Those that are familiar with the Shox will know that the model’s shape really is one to speak for itself, so the Swoosh has announced its return with suitably paired-back colourways - one in black and the other in white, with metallic and red accents adding to the style’s edgy look and feel.

Underfoot, both pairs come equipped with the model’s iconic cushioning system, which began its development under the supervision of Bruce Kilgore in 1984, before Air Max 95 designer Sergio Lozano helped to come up with the resulting hollowed-out design later down the line. This release sees the uppers come made from a mix of open and ballistic mesh, while TPU overlays help to add structure to the design.
