Tyler the Creator’s GOLF le FLEUR has seen a number of collaborations with Converse since their relationship began in the summer of 2017. From the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Hi Deri Unisex Beyaz Sneaker to the Converse Gianno, the artist has had no problem swapping silhouettes, making you question why other collaborators are so finicky on the matter. Without counting this latest GLF 2.0 silhouette, the Converse website has a Bugs of 48 different GOLF le FLEUR releases, proving the level of demand for Tyler’s footwear collaborations is not stopping anytime soon. Now Tyler is set to drop the fourth colourway of the Converse GLF 2.0, and fans will be ready to add this pair to the stack of other flower-based sneakers in their collection.
This “Verdant Green Seaport” colourway is almost a throwback to Tyler’s Golf Wang x Vans releases from 2014: perhaps it’s the simple two-tone approach or tongue patch which closely resembles the doughnut symbol that was so popular amongst his merch. The shoe uses a verdant green for its canvas construction while the seaport blue comes in the form of suede overlays. The flat poly laces come in two different options and speak to the skate century of the early 2000s with its thicker cut. Subtle pink hits can be found on the tongue lining, sole and insole, tying into the branding motif on the custom woven label.
This is another solid colourway for the GOLF le FLEUR x Converse GLF 2.0 line-up so why not stick by us at JuzsportsShops to find out how to pick up your pair!
