Joe Freshgoods takes a step away from New Balance’s 99X series to leave his creative imprint on the brand’s new trail-inspired 610v1. Normally known for his vibrant pastel shades, the Chicago-native has opted for a darker set of tones for this outdoor-orientated Beneath the Surface pack. Dropping alongside the archival classic Rainer brand new with original box New Balance UXC72 UXC72-0WA 610 “Tan-Orange” edition, which thanks to its low cut, is expected to be the favourite of the two.

The Boston-based footwear brand has described the colourway as “Latte with carrot”, with its many layers of details only visible when examined up close. The upper is formed from tan nubuck overlays, with a custom camouflage mesh providing the basis underneath.
