Air Max 95 History
A streetwear favourite, the Nike Air Max 95 has been an instant classic ever since it first arrived in the '90s. Although originally performance running shoes, Air Max 95s with their bold silhouette have become an essential part of chunky sneaker lovers' shoedrobes everywhere, compared to the fellow Air Max 90 or Air Max 97. Bringing a signature look with its layered, gradient upper, constructed from suede and leather overlapping each other, and often-visible Air unit in the midsole, this design is a must-have for any sneakerhead's collection.

Air Max 95 Construction
Modelled on a retro aesthetic, the trainer is crafted from a mixture of leather and mesh, which forms into signature waves on the upper. This detailing harks back to the Nike Air Max 95 OG and its designer - Sergio Lozano - who said this silhouette was reminiscent of the human body and human anatomy. A mini Swoosh is also embroidered into the lateral sides for an on-brand look, while bulky cushioning in the sole unit stands out under foot, quite different from an Air Max 1 or VaporMax.
