After Converse recently unveiled a brand-new GR colourway of the Jack Purcell Low inspired by matcha powder, the brand is back once again with a fresh collaboration that comes in the form of the mastermind JAPAN x Converse Jack Purcell GORE-TEX pack. Launching in both high and low-top renditions, the pairs offer up classic collaborative branding combined with weatherproof exteriors.

Known for its loyal fanbase and high-end designs, mastermind JAPAN has long since been a streetwear staple and has launched plenty of footwear essentials before, however the brand heads back to its roots with this clean and simple capsule that will no doubt prove popular with footwear fans across the world.

Decked out in a clean black and white look, the sneakers are crafted from GORE-TEX all across the uppers to ensure that you can rock these come rain or shine. Notable details include skull and crossbone branding across the tongues along with silver-tone metal studs and mastermind typeface branding across the rubber toe boxes. This all sits on top of a cushioned white midsole unit making sure that these are comfortable as ever.

If you’re looking to get your hands on either pair from this release then you’ll have to sit tight a little longer raspberry yet unless you’re willing to get inventive, as so far the pairs have only been released in Japan via mastermind and select retailers.
