Here we’re taking a closer look at the Converse Jack Purcell Black White.
An everyday casual trainer, you’ll be reaching for these no matter your style or outfit. Fashioned from Converse’s durable hardwearing canvas in a black hue, these are comfy and long lasting.
Looking closer in detail, we can see tonal black stitching following the shape of the silhouette along the eyestay, around the heel counter and up the heel strip. Matching Ivory black laces bring the shape together up top, so you’re definitely going to feel secure running around in these all day. Silver hardware in the form of eyelets and ventilation holes also adorn the upper, bringing a shiny contrast to the dark aesthetic.
Underfoot, a chunky white midsole cushions your feet with every step, while again, contrasting the black upper and creating a monochrome look. The toe vamp has been covered in the same white rubber as the midsole, with the addition of a small black strip running along the front edge. To the rear, the usual Converse heel sticker has been replaces with a black and white Slam that’s a little more minimalistic and fresh. Under the midsole is a vulcanised rubber outsole for the best traction and grip for all day and skating wear.
