The Neighborhood x adidas NMD R1 Black is one of the most hyped trainers of 2018. This adidas Consortium release launches alongside a larger pack of footwear, all stamped with unique detailing. Japanese label Neighborhood manage to impart some stealthy appeal onto the NMD R1.
It’s the shark tooth print across the upper which makes this release especially unique. This fierce style cue is matched by exclusive detailing throughout. Unlike any other NMD R1 released yet, this NBHD version sports a leather crafted lace surround. White stitching provides a fm1740 contrast and a strap across the heel maintains that lock down support.
The NBHD x adidas NMD R1 features several logos which is in stabilisation with the current street-wear trend. A blacked-out Boost unit makes the shoe even more hyped along with tonal coloured EVA plugs. To complete the design, Japanese insignia is marked across the plug to the front wall. It’s another nod to this Japanese fashion collective and their input on this stylish release.
